Senior Financial Analyst
We’re seeking a detail oriented and strategically minded Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. The Sr. Financial Analyst's responsibilities will include assisting with reporting, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing and updating financial models, administering budgeting software, interfacing with various departments of the company, and performing ad hoc analyses as required by leadership.
Advanced Excel proficiency is highly preferred. You should also have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be able to present analyses and key takeaways in a concise and easily comprehensible manner.

Qualifications

Senior Financial Analyst Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Graduate degree or CPA preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
  • Working knowledge of financial strategies.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn and interface with financial information systems.
  • Experience with SQL, Macros, PowerBI, Great Plains, Workday Adaptive Planning, and other software highly preferred

Responsibilities

Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing financial statements and reports.
  • Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
  • Assisting with the budget process, including training, and assisting multiple business partners
  • Co-administering budgeting software, in conjunction with IT
  • Understanding, interpreting, and proactively articulating key business drivers.
  • Converting large amounts of data into simple, easy to use information that drives management decision-making.
  • Assisting other departments with financial guidance.
  • Developing financial projections and building financial models.
  • Performing research and analysis as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
